Yes, Silver Efex Pro can be used in
a batch process. Simply create a new action
in Photoshop’s Actions palette and
then access Silver Efex Pro via the Filter
pull-down menu.(Filters>Nik Softwaer>Silver
Efex Pro) Make the adjustments* for your
image in Silver Efex Pro and click OK.
After the image is processed, stop the
action. You can then use that action to
batch process multiple images at once.
*Control points used in
Silver Efex Pro when recording an action
will not be saved nor applied to any images
the action is run on. Control points cannot
be used in an action/batch process because
they are location and information specific,
and the result may differ between images.
We also recommend duplicating your layer
as part of your action, as Silver Efex
Pro can not automatically duplicate layers
when applied as a batch process.
Note: The Nik
Selective Tool is not recordable with actions,
instead use the Filter menu. |
